Success requires learning. I help companies and organizations achieve success and improvement through the development and implementation of learning and change interventions.

Learning is enhanced when we have opportunities to engage with others. Join the ATL Instructional Design Learning Community to advance your skills, learn something new, and/or get the technical support and mentorship you’ve been seeking.

Are you working on a project or initiative that needs the expertise of an instructional designer; or would you simply like to connect and learn more?

About Me

I love the dynamic processes of teaching and learning—of using the tools of visual, written, and spoken language to bring about change in what an individual or group can understand, apply, and achieve.

Over the past 20 years, I have been an adult educator, a program manager, and a fundraiser. I have taught in community-based adult basic education programs and in college-based English language programs. I have written grant proposals that resulted in over $30M in funding for youth development, cultural arts, homeless services, and college student success programs—all the while maintaining a steady investment in my continual learning and professional development.

In 2022, I earned a master’s in Instructional Design & Technology. In the surrounding years, I’ve grown proficient in Articulate Storyline. I’ve gained a functional proficiency in design tools, such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; and I’ve begun to incorporate into my workflow AI tools, such as ChatGPT and the dynamic Midjourney.
